Make a meaningful impact this upcoming school year by supporting the learning and growth of students as a Special Education Teacher. Located near New London, CT, this contract role begins August 27 and runs through mid-November. You'll work on a close-knit campus each weekday from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, dedicating your expertise to a manageable caseload of 7-10 students.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license issued by the state of Connecticut (CT)
- Background working with students with diverse needs preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students, adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements
- Develop and execute IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress
- Use creative strategies and evidence-based interventions to engage learners
- Maintain documentation, assist in evaluations, and participate in team meetings
