We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers who can also take on case management responsibilities. This opportunity is a contract position, spanning August 2026 through June 2027, and requires individuals ready to make a meaningful difference in either a high school setting or potentially at the elementary/preschool level. Your expertise will help transform students’ educational experiences and provide the essential support they deserve.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher
  • Demonstrated experience in school environments
  • Expertise in special education best practices and individualized educational program (IEP) development
  • Strong organizational skills for case management and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Adaptability to adjust teaching strategies and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities to foster trust and relationships with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and adapt lesson plans to meet students’ individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Act as case manager for assigned students, facilitating team meetings and maintaining thorough, timely documentation
  • Collaborate with general education staff, aides, and related service providers
  • Monitor students’ academic, behavioral, and social progress
  • Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student achievements and areas of growth
  • Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
