A contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Special Education Teacher to serve an itinerant pre-school caseload in the Hanover and greater Adams County area. From July 1 to September 11, 2026, you’ll provide essential services to children at various school and community sites, with a home base near New Oxford.

Your expertise will help families and students as you collaborate with educators, caregivers, and service teams. A valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate is required—and you’ll need to submit it along with your resume to be considered. Your passion and flexibility will shine as you travel to different locations, making each day meaningful.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (submit with your application)
  • Experience teaching young children with special needs, preferably in itinerant or pre-school settings
  • Familiarity with IEP development, service delivery, and progress monitoring for early childhood special education
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned region during work hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality special education services to preschool-age students across multiple school and community settings in the Hanover area
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
