Nestled near picturesque New Oxford, PA, this opportunity allows you to work onsite at a well-respected learning center as part of an Extended School Year (ESY) program—with the potential to extend your assignment through the 2026/2027 school year. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Pennsylvania, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in classroom settings
  • Previous ESY program experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on special education instruction to students during summer ESY from July 8 – July 30, Monday through Thursday (8:15 am – 11:45 am)
  • Attend mandatory staff inservice on July 7
  • Implement IEPs and accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with faculty and families to foster student growth
  • For the 26/27 school year, work classroom hours (7:45 am – 3:15 pm), supporting students throughout the academic year
