Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
  • Background in Special Education, ideally supporting Autistic Support classrooms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals (PCAs) and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Adaptability and a positive, student-centered mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students with autism
  • Develop and implement IEPs that promote student growth
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Partner with PCAs to address diverse learning needs
  • Maintain clear communication with families and staff
  • Work onsite from 7:45 am – 3:15 pm during the school year
