Opportunities are open for immediate starts or for the upcoming New School Year, offering full-time schedules at 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will provide individualized instruction, create supportive classroom environments, and collaborate with a dedicated team to help every student reach their full potential.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active NY State Special Education Teacher Certification appropriate to grade level
  • Master’s degree in Education required
  • Previous experience working with children in special education settings
  • Strong knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons for students with a variety of learning differences
  • Interpret IEPs and participate in team meetings with families and professionals
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Assess progress, provide feedback, and document growth
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff
  • Participate in professional development to enhance instructional strategies
