Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New York State Special Education Teacher Certification in the appropriate grade level
• Master’s degree in Education (MA required)
• Previous experience in special education or inclusive learning environments preferred
• Strong communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administration

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulations
