• UPK (Universal Pre-K) programs and specialized learning experiences

Responsibilities include:

• Instructing and supporting students with varying abilities from PreK through Grade 12
• Adapting and individualizing curriculum to meet students’ educational needs
• Collaborating with other educators and specialists to develop and implement IEPs
• Communicating progress and challenges effectively with families and staff
• Creating an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

• Valid NY State Special Education Teacher Certification appropriate for assigned grade levels
• Master’s degree in Education
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with diverse needs across PreK-12 settings
