Assignment Details:

• Duration: 8/31 – 6/22
• Schedule: Weekdays, 7:35 AM – 3:05 PM
• Caseload: 5 classes, each supporting up to 10 students
• Focus: In-class instructional support for students with varying needs

Qualifications:

• Active special education teaching certification required
• Experience in high school settings is preferred, though candidates with strong backgrounds will be considered
• Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a diverse range of learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive, supportive environment for students within inclusive classes
• Partner with content teachers to deliver accommodations and support educational goals
• Monitor and document student progress, responding to academic and behavioral needs as they arise
• Modify lessons and assessments in collaboration with general and special education staff
• Communicate regularly with colleagues and families to strengthen student success
