Qualifications:

• Valid NY State Special Education Teacher certification appropriate to grade level
• Master’s Degree in Education required
• Experience working with students in special education settings strongly preferred

• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to meet needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and team members to implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
• Communicate regularly with families regarding achievement and growth
• Participate in IEP, parent, and staff meetings as required
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom climate
