Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Adaptive Exceptional Children (EC) teaching license (required)
• Strong background in special education, preferably in adaptive or self-contained settings
• Experience managing classroom routines and developing IEPs
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and commitment to the success of each student
