Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Adaptive Exceptional Children (EC) teaching license (required)
- Strong background in special education, preferably in adaptive or self-contained settings
- Experience managing classroom routines and developing IEPs
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Compassion, flexibility, and commitment to the success of each student
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement student-centered instructional plans
- Modify curriculum and differentiate teaching strategies as needed
