Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with General Curriculum endorsement required
• Experience within a high school or adolescent setting preferred

• Ability to implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction appropriately
• A genuine desire to empower and support students with exceptional needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to high school students on General Curriculum
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
• Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor progress, offer feedback, and advocate for needed accommodations
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing team collaboration
