What we're seeking:

• Valid teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with K-5 students in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and monitoring
• Able to foster communication and collaboration with students, families, and fellow educators
• Adaptability and flexibility in responding to student needs and educational goals
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Leading and participating in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reviews
• Guiding and supporting classroom paraprofessionals and related staff
• Implementing behavior management strategies and inclusive practices
• Collaborating closely with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date student documentation and records
