In this role, you will:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active and valid Indiana Special Education teaching license (screenshot must accompany application)
• Experience in self-contained classrooms or teaching students with mild disabilities preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and work with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational skills to track progress and adapt plans as needed
• Passion for supporting diverse learners and creating inclusive environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage a self-contained classroom with approximately 12 elementary-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), partnering with families and educational staff
• Create a structured, positive classroom atmosphere tailored to each student’s needs
• Track academic and behavioral progress, documenting growth and challenges
• Participate in professional development and regular team meetings
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education
