Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License (provide screenshot for verification)
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting students with mild disabilities in self-contained classrooms is highly valued
  • Strong classroom management, differentiated instruction, and individualized education plan (IEP) implementation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver direct instruction and provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports for students with mild disabilities
  • Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring accommodations and modifications meet student needs
  • Create a structured, positive, and organized classroom for optimal student engagement
  • Track and document student progress, communicating results with stakeholders as needed
  • Collaborate closely with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Participate in parent meetings, team conferences, and professional development sessions

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for 35 hours per week, available for immediate start through December 18, 2026. Working within a supportive school environment, you’ll be a key resource for student achievement and growth.
