Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services.
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student IEP goals and needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to educational goals and services.
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth.

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school-based special education setting is preferred.
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is a plus.

Education:

Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License required.

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

School Year: 2026–2027

Work Hours: Full-time school schedule

Pay: 40+/hr
