Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state requirements must be met)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to suit individual learning plans
• Commitment to inclusive education and the success of each student

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate unique learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
• Utilize data-driven instructional methods to track progress and inform interventions
• Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and complete progress reports in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training sessions
