K-5 Grades 6 - 8 Special Education Teacher - Norristown, Pennsylvania

What You Bring:

• Hold a valid PA Instructional I or II certificate in K-12 Special Education (strongly preferred)
• Emergency-certified educators with at least two years of relevant experience are considered if actively enrolled in a certification program or registered for the full certification exam
• Experience with case management responsibilities and proven ability to develop and implement IEPs
• Comfortable working with diverse academic and behavioral needs across grades K-6
• Strong communication and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide targeted special education instruction to students identified for learning or emotional support
• Manage a caseload, both writing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom climate that encourages the success of every learner
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to adapt and modify curriculum
• Utilize data-driven strategies to address students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs
