Special Education Teacher - Norristown, Pennsylvania

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Certification for K-4
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs and modify lesson plans based on student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative approach for working with staff, families, and external providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support services to a caseload of approximately 20 K-4 students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Track student progress, complete required documentation, and participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Work alongside general education teachers to adapt curriculum and ensure all students can access instruction
