Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with K-12 students with varying disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs
• Familiarity with technology and assistive devices used in special education

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with all federal, state, and district requirements
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture where all students can succeed
