Key Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification or licensure in Special Education
• Prior experience in elementary special education strongly preferred
• Skilled in developing, updating, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Confident in conducting and participating in IEP meetings
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Must be able to work onsite, Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, differentiated instruction to elementary students with disabilities
• Draft and update IEPs to reflect student growth and changing needs
• Lead or contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring all voices are heard
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and specialists to optimize support
• Track and document student progress, adapting instruction as needed
• Adhere to required special education practices, maintaining compliance and accurate records
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment within the onsite school setting
