Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current state certification and licensure in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working within elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Skilled in designing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Familiarity with diverse learning needs and adapting instructional strategies accordingly
• Comfortable navigating classroom technology and documentation software

Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the specific needs of students with varying abilities
• Implement IEPs in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Provide direct instruction and support to students one-on-one and in small groups
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and modify instructional approaches as needed
• Engage with families to communicate student progress and address concerns
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and required documentation
