Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 6–8 with mild to moderate learning needs. This educator will work across inclusion and resource environments, partnering closely with general education teachers to ensure students receive tailored instruction, accommodations, and ongoing progress monitoring. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and confident supporting diverse learners in both small-group and push-in settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students with IEPs in both resource room and inclusion classrooms.

Support individualized learning goals through targeted interventions and differentiated instructional strategies.

Collaborate daily with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure appropriate accommodations.

Monitor, document, and report student progress in alignment with IEP requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and parent communication to support student success.

Maintain a structured, supportive learning environment focused on growth and independence.

Middle school students (grades 6–8)

Requirements:

Active Connecticut Teacher Certification in Special Education, grades 6–8 (standard certification only; provisional not accepted)
