Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Special Education Teacher Certification
  • Experience with high school students (grades 9-12) preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

  • Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with mild to moderate needs in both inclusion and resource settings

  • Collect data and monitor student progress toward goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Collaborate with general education staff to ensure students receive appropriate support within the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
