In this role, you’ll work closely with a staff that includes a school social worker, literacy coach, math teacher, BCBA, behavior technicians, and a teacher assistant—collaborating to provide tailored guidance to a class of 10-12 students. Qualifications:

  • Special Education Teacher certification (valid for middle school preferred)
  • Prior experience with middle school-aged students
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom of 10-12 students, providing individualized and group instruction
  • Collaborate with support professionals (SW, BCBA, BTs, literacy/math coaches)
  • Develop and implement IEPs and learning plans
  • Foster a positive, productive, and inclusive learning environment
