Take your expertise to an Ansonia middle school classroom supporting a tight-knit group of 10-12 students. Collaborate closely in a dynamic team alongside a social worker, literacy coach, math teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), behavioral technicians (BTs), and a teacher assistant. The collaborative setting ensures that you’ll learn from specialists, enhance your instructional strategies, and receive support as you provide meaningful education and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for CT
• Experience (or strong desire to work) in a middle school setting
• Skill in collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Understanding of IEP implementation and data-driven instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to 10-12 middle school students
• Collaborate daily with fellow educators and support staff for student success
