Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Active Connecticut Special Education teaching license/certification
  • Preferred experience with elementary and/or middle school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction and support across varied student needs
  • Manage split caseload of elementary and middle school students
  • Collaborate with general educators, related services, staff, and families
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Offer differentiated instruction and modifications
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
