Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience supporting K-5 students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Ability to design differentiated lesson plans and classroom interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families, general education staff, and support teams
• Resource Specialist experience is highly valued

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students in a resource classroom setting
• Develop and implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications for each student
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to promote success and meet each student’s needs
• Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to foster inclusive practices
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions and assessments
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
