Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Arkansas licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Background working in either self-contained or resource classroom settings
• Ability to perform all general duties of a Special Education Teacher effectively
• A genuine passion for helping every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
• Strong work ethic, commitment to ongoing professional growth, and a positive, can-do attitude

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in self-contained or resource programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Track student progress and maintain all required documentation with accuracy
• Create a supportive and structured learning environment that encourages student engagement
• Participate in professional development and school meetings that support best practices in special education
