Step into a pivotal position serving as a remote high school SPED case manager and coordinator, with responsibility for a caseload of 45 students across two grades. This full-time, school-year assignment aligns with the academic calendar, keeping you engaged throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take primary responsibility for case management for high school students, ensuring IEP compliance and exceptional support.
  • Coordinate and lead IEP meetings, evaluations, and re-evaluations, maintaining timely and thorough documentation.
  • Write, maintain, and track IEPs, ensuring all deadlines and compliance standards are met.
  • Engage in consistent collaboration with a core team of teachers and service providers to support shared students across the grades.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff and families on student progress, goals, and concerns.
  • Analyze academic and behavioral data to drive IEP decisions and support individualized instruction.
  • Oversee the implementation of accommodations and modifications across instructional settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont Special Educator licensure (VT DOE SPED credentialing required).
  • Previous experience as a Vermont virtual SPED case manager.
  • Demonstrated excellence in IEP writing, compliance, and case management.
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative partner with educators and families.
  • At least two supervisor references from prior virtual SPED roles.
