Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field.
• Previous classroom experience with diverse learners strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.
• Solid communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to adapt instruction for a range of disabilities and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to address students’ strengths and challenges.
• Monitor student progress and update goals as needed in cooperation with families and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely records.
• Participate in assessment, eligibility, and placement processes.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth as well as academic achievement.
