Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field.
- Previous classroom experience with diverse learners strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.
- Solid communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt instruction for a range of disabilities and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to address students’ strengths and challenges.
- Monitor student progress and update goals as needed in cooperation with families and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely records.
- Participate in assessment, eligibility, and placement processes.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
- Support students’ social-emotional growth as well as academic achievement.
