Key Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement
- At least two years of recent teaching experience in a special education setting
- Demonstrated expertise with crafting and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and IEP meeting presentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver targeted lessons in ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Math
- Write, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Test students and record measurable progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate and present at IEP meetings to ensure best outcomes for each learner
