Key Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement
• At least two years of recent teaching experience in a special education setting
• Demonstrated expertise with crafting and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and IEP meeting presentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver targeted lessons in ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Math
• Write, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
• Test students and record measurable progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Participate and present at IEP meetings to ensure best outcomes for each learner
