Special Education Teacher - Michigan School-Based Openings
We are seeking Travel or Local Special Education Teachers for K-12 school-based opportunities in Michigan. These are W-2 positions offering estimated weekly pay of $1,600-$2,000 (based on a 40-hour workweek), full benefits, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off.
We work closely with educators to match them with placements that fit their preferences, including:
- K-12 grade levels
- Classroom and caseload preferences
- Preferred school settings and locations
Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers, monitoring student progress, participating in IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Active Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification or ability to obtain
- School-based experience preferred
- IEP experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite
