This position is based near Nyssa, OR, with a consistent 32-hour workweek, Monday through Thursday.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Experience providing special education services in virtual or remote school environments
- Proficiency in IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Strong communication skills for engaging students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Comfort with educational technology, learning management systems, and online instruction
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction to students with varying needs through virtual platforms
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians to foster student success
- Utilize assessment data to tailor interventions and track progress
- Facilitate online meetings, consultations, and regular communication with stakeholders
- Offer academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities
