Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher credential
• Experience writing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse needs
• Ability to perform all general responsibilities required for Special Education Teachers

• Flexible to work with a range of K-12 caseloads, adapting instruction as needed
• Growth mindset and dedication to ongoing professional learning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver instruction tailored to individual student goals and IEP requirements
• Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support within self-contained and/or resource settings
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure student progress
• Collect data and monitor progress, making timely adjustments to supports and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to best serve each student
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
