Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support Kindergarten and 1st grade students within a Special Day Class (SDC) environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)

• Foster collaboration with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialists
• Provide nurturing guidance and interventions to meet each child’s unique needs
• Ensure adherence to federal and state special education requirements

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid California Special Education teaching credential
• Previous experience in SDC settings is preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and families
