Desired Qualifications:

  • Active California teaching credential in one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Proven experience implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Experience with a range of disabilities, including both mild/moderate and moderate/severe
  • Flexibility and adaptability with a willingness to work across multiple school sites and grade levels
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Previous contract or travel teaching experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and adapt instruction to meet individualized student needs in inclusive or specialized settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
  • Collect data, track student progress, and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Establish a positive, supportive, and safe classroom climate
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and professional development
