Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (California preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs (mild/moderate or moderate/severe)
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Committed to implementing differentiated instruction and behavioral interventions
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum to address each student’s unique learning style and needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student achievement
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and growth
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
