Special Education Teacher - Ocoee, Florida

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students in an ESE or special education setting
• Strong knowledge of current instructional methods, IEP development, and progress monitoring for students with diverse needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working closely with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility, creativity, and compassion in adapting instruction and approaches

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support elementary ESE students in-person, implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum as needed
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and positive behavior
• Track and document student progress, provide feedback, and meet program compliance requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to ensure consistent strategies and supports
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
