Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher credentials
  • Prior experience implementing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to fulfill the daily responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher, including developing lesson plans, progress monitoring, and collaborating with general ed teachers
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building abilities
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse learning needs across K-12 caseloads in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching settings
  • Develop, execute, review, and adjust IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other staff, families, and related service providers to foster student progress and inclusion
  • Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support to encourage academic and social growth
  • Monitor student outcomes and document progress toward IEP goals
