• Intensive Support at the elementary level, working closely with students needing individualized support plans.

Your role will encompass:

• Providing tailored instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general curriculum.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Using evidence-based teaching strategies to foster classroom engagement and growth.
• Supporting students’ social-emotional learning and behavioral development.
• Maintaining clear documentation and adhering to all compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification in South Carolina).
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
