Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction as a Push-In Resource Teacher within general education classrooms
- Co-teach in a minimum of two core content subjects, collaborating closely with general education teachers
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize academic and social growth
- Maintain effective communication with students, families, and school staff to ensure consistent support
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning atmosphere on-site at a vibrant middle school
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous classroom experience in special education, especially in push-in or co-teaching models
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and inspire a caseload of 15-20 students across different subject areas
