Make a direct impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students with mild to moderate needs on a part-time basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This role provides resource and/or inclusion services and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility to obtain one through reciprocity
- Background working with elementary-age students is a plus
- Familiarity with IDEA regulations and special education compliance practices
- Exceptional skills in communication, organization, and teamwork
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet students’ diverse learning profiles
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction and behavior supports for elementary students identified with special education needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate regularly with school staff, parents/guardians, and service providers to support student growth
- Participate actively in student evaluations and team meetings, contributing professional insight
