Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement or ability to obtain via reciprocity
- Background in working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Familiarity with child development principles and early intervention best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and tailored support for preschoolers in special education programs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document compliance and track student progress regularly
- Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic support system
- Foster the social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental growth of students
- Take part in evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings to advocate for student needs
