Special Education Teacher in Olathe, CO

Step into a rewarding role supporting preschool-aged learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position follows the school calendar, beginning August 12, 2026, and extends through the end of the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement or ability to obtain via reciprocity
• Background in working with preschool-aged children is preferred
• Familiarity with child development principles and early intervention best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and tailored support for preschoolers in special education programs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document compliance and track student progress regularly
• Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic support system
• Foster the social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental growth of students
• Take part in evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings to advocate for student needs
