Special Education Teacher in Olathe, CO

What you'll bring:

• An active Colorado Special Education License with an Early Childhood endorsement, or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity
• Familiarity with child development and early intervention practices
• Experience working with preschool-aged children strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and targeted developmental support to preschoolers with special needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance documentation and progress monitoring
• Support growth in communication, social-emotional skills, behavior, and overall development
• Participate in evaluations, eligibility reviews, and IEP meetings to advocate for each student's success
• Foster strong partnership with families and contribute to a positive, inclusive early childhood learning environment

This role is best suited for onsite professionals committed to working within school settings and collaborating readily with other education and therapeutic disciplines. Caseload will focus on early childhood special education, with specific details confirmed by the district.
