Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
• Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
• Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with staff and families
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a collaborative school-based setting
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to a small group of elementary students, adapting lessons as needed
• Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster an encouraging, positive atmosphere to promote progress and independence
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student learning and behavior
• Participate in program development, progress monitoring, and ongoing professional learning
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements
