Elementary 11th Grade Special Education Teacher in Old Town, FL

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification (all certification backgrounds will be considered)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a self-contained classroom at the high school and/or elementary level, providing tailored instruction to students with individual learning plans
• Design, implement, and modify curriculum for students with a wide range of abilities and needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches as necessary
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, support staff, and fellow educators to deliver comprehensive services
• Foster strong school-to-home partnerships through ongoing communication with families
• Support students in achieving academic and social-emotional goals within a nurturing setting
