Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher on a full-time, contract basis. In this position, you'll work with K-6th grade students within a typical special education classroom environment, making a meaningful impact through individualized instruction and dedicated advocacy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification/license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
  • Previous experience in an elementary setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver personalized educational programming to K-6th grade students, tailoring instruction and interventions based on their unique learning profiles
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Coordinate and lead IEP meetings in partnership with families, related service providers, and school staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures academic, social, and behavioral development
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and student documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student success and inclusion
