A unique educational program in the Omaha, NE, area is now looking to hire a licensed teacher for a current, part-time opening. The director is seeking a long-term contractor to fulfill the program requirement of having a licensed teacher present to oversee and run the program. Responsibilities:

Serve as the licensed teacher responsible for overseeing and running the educational program.
Provide instruction and support for female students ages 18–21 who have aged out of the traditional school setting and have unmet IEP goals.
Collaborate with program staff to support students' educational and transition goals.
Foster a positive, structured learning environment that promotes student success and independence.

Experience:

Previous experience working with students with IEPs or in special education settings is preferred, but not required.

Education:

Active Nebraska Teaching License required.

Employment Type: Part-time, Contract

Work Hours: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Program operates 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), 20–25 hours per week

Start Date: August–September
