Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state
• Prior experience working with K-5 students with diverse needs
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs collaboratively
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Creative problem-solving approach and adaptability
• Familiarity with data-driven instruction and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s IEP
• Create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students with a wide range of abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and maintain accurate compliance documentation
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture to support social, emotional, and academic growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities
