Make a real impact in the lives of middle and high school students by providing exceptional cross-categorical support in a positive, inclusive educational environment. This contract position is perfect for passionate special educators who want to work directly with students with varied mild-to-moderate disabilities—including learning disabilities, emotional behavior disorders, and mild intellectual disabilities—within a single classroom setting. You’ll deliver comprehensive support and collaborate with a dedicated team in the Oneida, WI community throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education teaching certification (License #2801) required
  • Solid experience supporting students on the autism spectrum
  • Background in cross-categorical or multi-categorical special education preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction for students with a range of disabilities
  • Collaborative approach, working effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide cross-categorical special education services to middle (grades 6–8) or high school students
  • Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate to foster inclusive and accommodating classroom environments
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Empower students to achieve academic, social, and behavioral success
  • Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with families and educational partners
