You’ll join a dedicated staff providing instruction and support in a welcoming, resource-rich environment.

  • Early Childhood (EC)
  • High School Intellectual Disability

Your expertise will help foster growth and empowerment for students, ensuring individualized goals are met in engaging, safe settings.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience in elementary special education, with behavior endorsement preferred
  • Deep understanding of autism, early childhood, or intellectual disabilities (as relevant)
  • Ability to develop and adapt instructional materials to various learning needs
  • Skilled in collaborating with families, related service personnel, and classroom staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and modify instructional activities based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Develop behavior intervention strategies and support positive student outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support specialists onsite
  • Communicate regularly with families to celebrate successes and address concerns
  • Encourage student self-advocacy, growth, and confidence
