This onsite role begins August 31, 2026, and extends through June 3, 2027, allowing you to dedicate yourself to students’ growth over the course of a full school year.
You’ll work directly with distinct programs, focusing on two elementary autism classrooms, one early childhood (EC) setting, and one high school intellectual disability assignment—enabling you to tailor your expertise and experience. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for the appropriate grade levels
- Previous experience in elementary special education and/or with behavioral programs
- Behavior Endorsement required
- Experience supporting students in autism and intellectual disability programs strongly preferred
- Clear communication, adaptability, and a teaching style focused on individualized instruction
- Dedication to fostering inclusion and positive classroom environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction and interventions for students with disabilities
- Collaborate with IEP teams and related service providers to develop and implement individualized plans
- Create a welcoming classroom culture supporting academic and social-emotional growth
- Track student progress and maintain all required documentation
- Engage regularly with families to support student success
- Contribute to continuous program improvement within the school community
