Qualifications:

• Valid 5–12 moderate Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with middle or high school students in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create inclusive and engaging lesson plans aligned with individual needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct special education services to assigned middle and high school students
• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive learning experience
• Engage in data-driven instructional practices and maintain detailed records for each student’s progress
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student independence and achievement
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a cohesive educational team
